Behavior in organizations : an experiential approach
Behavior in Organizations is designed first and foremost to meet needs that other texts do not satisfy. It continues to take a hands-on, experiential approach to organizational behavior. The majority of the exercises, role-playing simulations, and cases were developed in and for management training workshops.
Understanding human behavior in organizations is the heart of effective management. Students respond with great enthusiasm to OB concepts in a well designed course, and this enthusiasm offers the quickest route to developing the working skills they will find essential in the business world. The text is organized into four major clusters of modules in the book and a fifth advanced cluster on the website: The Organizational Behavior Context: A Sustainability-based Perspective; Managing Individual Processes; Managing Interpersonal Processes; Managing Organizational Processes, and Advanced Modules.
This text's main aim is to help students be the best they can be as tomorrow's socially responsible leaders of organizations.
