This undergraduate thesis searches about the correlation verbs mastery and writing
ability of recount text. Concering to thee four skill of english course are listening,
reading, speaking and writing that usually thaught at school. Writing is one of the
four skills which taught at the school. the students can practice to express their ideas,
experiences, interest, and communicate with the other students through the written
form The problems fonnulation of this research are (1) is there any positive and
signi?cant correlation between verbs mastery and the student writing ability of
recount text?(2) how many kind of errors of student writing recount text. The
