The influence of using power teaching technique toward speaking ability at the students of SMP PGRI 1 Trimurjo academic year 2014-2015
Speaking is an important ability in leaming English. The students can develop their speaking
ability well when teachers can provide a great learning class, but the traditional leaming using
hand books fully makes the students less practicing, so speaking English feel very dif?cult.
Many techniques presented as a solution in speaking ability is Power Teaching Technique. The
problem formulations in this research are;(l) ls there any positif and signi?cant in?uence of
using Power Teaching technique toward speaking ability at the students of SMP PGRI 1
Trimurjo?.(2) Is not there positif and signi?cant in?uence of using Power Teaching technique
toward speaking ability at the students of SMP PGRI l Trimurjo?. The objective of this research
is To know whether there is any positif and signi?cant in?uence of using Power Teaching
technique toward speaking ability at the students of SMP PGRI 1 Trimurjo.
The method of investigation is held. through quantitative research. The researcher uses true
experimental research. ln this experiment, the employees control group pre test post test design.
The researcher is conducted at the eight grade of SMP PGRI 1 Trimurjo academic year
2014/2015. All of the population in this research is 117 students. It is consist 4 classes and The
researcher takes 50 students from total population as the sample. 25 students as experiment class
Ild 25 as control class that matching based on classi?cation of student level. And the researcher
use cluster random sampling as technique sampling.
To analyze data, the researcher uses tm formula. The researcher get the result of tm is 3,18 and
